BIMBI
KIRINDAL SILVER BELLE
Bimbi competing in Novice jumping
Bimbi was my second Dally bitch and was the mother of my first litter, though small in size she had a huge heart and was a great mum. Born on Christmas day I was allowed to name her after my favourite Christmas Carol, and bought her a Christmas stocking that sings her song. Though we trained hard over the years Bimbi became known afectionately as a one pass wonder as she only managed one pass in any sport we competed in.
Bimbi loved my two cats and is the reason for my obtaining Grimbold from our vet when she cut her pad badly as a young and crazy youngster. Bimbi introduced me to the competition ring in Agility and loved it a little too much to pay attention to my commands all the time. I also learned about motivational training with her as being firm did not work, her size saw me spoil her by letting her sit on my knee. for a couple of years when I exhibited her at the Royal Melbourne Show, Bimbi would sit on my knee and everyone that came to pat her would find her placing her foot over her arm. They would ask if she didn't want to be patted but it was her way of asking them to rub her belly instead. Bim loved to retrieve in water and would find any rubbish to retrieve if we had nothing else. At the edge of the water after a couple of throws she would bury the object she retrieved in the mud and then act like a racoon and dig around for it and look like she was washing it.
